Domain Redemption

When a domain name passes it’s expiry date without renewal it will enter the renewal grace period. During this period, the domain name will stop resolving and websites and emails will stop working. However, the name can be renewed as normal without any surcharges. The length of the grace period varies by domain extension. See the table below for grace period lengths for different domain extensions.

When you fail to renew your domain name and the grace period lapses, your domain name will be held in a redemption period for 30 days. Once in the redemption period, the name can be recovered, but a redemption fee will apply. Domain names can be recovered for £99.00 + VAT with the exception of those below:
